Fresh Strawberries with Vanilla Cream

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Fresh Strawberries
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Prepare the strawberries - Rinse the strawberries, remove the stems, and slice them in halves or quarters.
  2. Macerate the fruit - Place the strawberries in a bowl and sprinkle with 1–2 tablespoons of sugar. Let them sit for 10–15 minutes until the fruit begins to release its juices.)
  3. Prepare the vanilla cream - In a separate bowl, whisk the heavy cream with the vanilla until softly whipped.
  4. Serve - Spoon the strawberries and their juices into small bowls and top with vanilla cream.
  5. Finish - Add a drizzle of honey
